The Founder and Non-Executive Director of VBHC, Mr. Jaithirth Rao is a visionary leader. His previous stint as the Chairman and Managing Director of Mphasis added to his already vast wealth of experience accumulated by successfully leading Citicorp and Citibank for nearly two decades. He earned the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 2001 and 2004, and the Karnataka State Rajyothsava Award in 2005 while serving the multinational information technology services and consulting company. To add to the feathers in his cap, he has also chaired NASSCOM.
In his formative years, Mr. Jaithirth Rao was academically gifted. He holds MBA degrees from both IIM-Ahmedabad and the University of Chicago, where he also serves as a visiting faculty member. The University of Chicago has honoured him with the Distinguished Alumnus Award.
He has additionally served as an entrepreneur-in-residence at Harvard Business School, a lecturer at IIT Bombay, and is a trustee for both the India Foundation for the Arts and Sujaya Foundation, titles that only a select few have achieved.

Co-founder & Chairman
At the helm of VBHC is Mr. P.S. Jayakumar as Co-founder and Chairman. The former M.D. and CEO of Bank of Baroda had also led the Consumer Banking division of Citibank for twenty years. He was the force who led the successful integration of the Bank of Baroda along with Dena Bank and Vijaya Bank, a move that transformed the public sector banking system. With his acute business acumen, he has co-promoted VBHC and Home First Finance Company, which resulted in the revolution of the affordable housing in the country.
Currently, he chairs and serves as an Independent Director on various boards across sectors including insurance, finance, logistics, infrastructure, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, construction, agritech, and media. He also guides startups and is a member of the Governing Board of the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs.
Academically, Mr. P.S. Jayakumar was an outstanding student. From being a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants to graduating as an MBA from XLRI Jamshedpur, and a Gurukul Chevening Scholar from the London School of Economics, he has done it all.

Non-Executive Director
Mr. P. Chandrasekaran is the founder partner of M/S. P. Chandrasekar LLP, a Firm of Chartered Accountants, established in the year 1988, Mr. Chandrasekaran has an experience of 30 plus years into Audit Taxation, Banking and Finance and Other Consultancy handling the Statutory, Internal, Management Audit and Systems Audits of the Corporate Bodies, Public Sector Undertakings, Quasi- Government Undertakings, and Others. His other focus is on services like, Management Consultancy, Mergers and Acquisitions, Capital Restructuring to name a few.
Mr. Chandrasekaran has acted as Course Director for various programmes organized by the professional institutions on the areas of Finance, Corporate Laws and Tax Laws Participated in several International, Domestic and Professional Conferences.
